I stopped using an IPhone largerely because the walled garden on it kept me from interacting and sharing info from said phone with my operating system causer it was Linux based (not Android) I now have an Android phone and it plays very well with my fresh and shiny Linux Mint os.
Apple keeps its customers and its platform under tight control
Which is why I have always disliked it and refused to use it. The only reason I had an Apple phone is cause it was a gift.
